Be Her Village
Be Her Village is a growing community of women across the Triangle who gather to laugh, pause, and connect through work, family, dreams, and everything in between. Encouragement comes naturally here. We rise together instead of competing, and everyone is seen, supported, and empowered. All ages are welcome.
Let’s Gather
Come meet the women who might just become your people. No pressure, no politics — just good company and the start of something real.
An Introduction to the Village
This is a low-key, no-pressure introduction to the group. Come as you are, meet a few new faces, and get a feel for what Be Her Village is all about.
RSVP on FacebookWhat This Group Is (and Isn't)
We want every woman who walks in to know exactly what kind of space this is.
This Space IS
- A space to meet women and celebrate the richness that comes from different cultures, perspectives, beliefs, and life journeys.
- A space to pause, laugh, and connect with other women navigating work, family, dreams, responsibilities, and everything in between.
- A space where encouragement comes naturally, women rise together rather than compete, and everyone feels seen, supported, and empowered.
This Space is NOT
- A space to debate or promote political, religious, or personal lifestyle beliefs.
- A networking group. You're welcome to share what you do and support other women in their endeavors, but this space is about building genuine relationships, not promoting businesses.
- A space for gossip, judgment, or speaking negatively about ourselves or others. We are here to support, encourage, and respect one another.
How It Works
Where we gather. We host meetups all around the Triangle — Apex, Holly Springs, Fuquay, Angier, Clayton, and Garner, with the occasional gathering in Cary or Raleigh depending on the event.
How often. In July we're starting with one introductory meetup. Starting in August, we'll move to two meetups a month, always one on a weekday and one on a weekend. The weekday meetup will switch between morning and evening each month, so there's a chance to catch us no matter your schedule.
Family Events. Every quarter we host a Family Event, where you can bring your spouse and kids. We all need community, and we want this to feel like a real village — so these are potluck-style gatherings built around full bellies, good company, and some good clean fun.
Cost. We do our best to keep as many meetups free of charge, because we believe connection shouldn't be transactional. We also love supporting local businesses, so some events will be hosted inside them, including ones owned by women in our own group. When an event requires paying for supplies, space, or food, there will be a small entry fee to cover the cost. We keep it as low as we can, and the organizers never profit from it.
A Taste of What's Ahead
We rotate through all kinds of gatherings so there's something for every kind of woman. Here's a preview of what's in the mix.
Creative & Reflective
Active & Outdoors
Cozy & Connective
Playful & Silly
...and plenty more where that came from.
Ready to find your village?
Come as you are. Bring a friend, or come solo and leave with a few new ones. We can't wait to meet you.
