18×24 Textured Painting on Canvas with Floater Frame
Sometimes we can become inpatient with our own healing. Wanting to rush, and be “done,” now, but if there is anything I have learned from life, it is that we must master riding the waves. Life will never slow down for us when we need rest, and it will never speed up when we want instant gratification. Life will always force us to wait, no matter how much it pains us to do so. Now I know not to rush my healing, but to instead build a nice boat for myself to sail on through the waves of life. Who knows what the tides will bring tomorrow.
